About the volunteering opportunity
The Berlin City Mission seeks the best of the city, helps where there is need, gives people a roof for their souls. You can be a part of this as part of the Scout Social Summer!
Many places in Berlin are looking forward to your voluntary commitment as a team.
In our logistics kitchen in our center at the central station, several hundred meals are prepared every weekday for our facilities for the homeless, for which we use volunteers to help with the preparation

Your Tasks
Support the logistics kitchen with various tasks:
- Washing dishes
- Washing and cutting vegetables
- Help with general kitchen tasks
- Support with cooking
If you are interested in a team assignment, please send us a message with the following information:
- How many people would like to participate (Please note: We can facilitate assignments for teams of 4 to a maximum of 7 people)
- Your preferred period (If you would like to volunteer on a specific day or in a specific week, please let us know)

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
You are open to a change of perspective and want to get to know our work better.

We will coordinate the exact date with you individually by email. Your assignment then runs from 13:00 to 17:00 and takes place once.
Important notice
Important for working in the logistics kitchen: sturdy shoes, long pants and short sleeves
