Social Summer 2022
Social Spring becomes Social Summer! Until August 31 you have the opportunity to support charitable projects. Our focus this year is on helping refugees from Ukraine and helping the homeless in general. Each of you can spend a total of 8 hours on his:her personal volunteer commitment - and that regardless of employment and weekly working hours. Depending on the project you choose, you can use the available time in its entirety or divide it among different dates and projects. Please beware that your commitment should take place during working hours. You can now also view requests for donations in kind via a new platform feature. Please always discuss your commitment with your manager in advance.
Here's how you can organize your team engagement:
1) Find a date together with your team (e.g. via Doodle or nuudel).
2) Register individually for the desired project and time via the engagement platform or contact the Vostel team directly: email@example.com
3) Set up an out-of-office note in Outlook and Slack to let other Scouts know you're involved in Social Summer.
4) Get engaged together as #OneTeam for refugees from Ukraine or homeless people!
Despite the relaxed Corona guidelines, the projects still depend on hygiene and safety measures being followed. You will find the relevant information in the respective project descriptions. If you haven't found the right project, check with our partner Vostel to see what other opportunities are available: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We wish you loads of fun with your social engagement!
